Your class will divide into 9 teams. Each team will be responsible for collecting data on one of the American symbols. You and your team members will each survey three people from your family or community on what the symbol means to them. You can find the survey sheet in your Research Journal.
Do the American symbols mean the same thing to everyone you surveyed?
Create a poster with your team members showing the symbol you were collecting data on, and what the responses were. You may have words and drawings on your poster.
