Resources for HC Crittenden Middle School's Science Olympiad for school year 2024-25

Welcome to Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a nationwide STEM competition in which students compete in science-related events, including building challenges and exam-based events. This is a club for student partnerships and/or individual work preparing for the competition with assistance from teacher advisors. The topics for the 18 events team or individual events include engineering, chemistry, biology, and physics to name a few. We will meet once a week starting Tuesday, October 8th, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm in room 142. This activity is open to all students in grades 6-8. Sign up for meetings on Flex Time Manager.

The Regional Tournament will be held on a Saturday March 1 in Scarsdale, NY. The State tournament is usually held in April. Students must be willing to dedicate some time to their projects at home. The club advisors this year will be Mrs. M. Smith (6th grade science) and Mrs. Barthelmes (library media specialist.)
